Converting AVI Movies to DVD

Hello all,

I thought there must be some of you out there who wants to know how to convert an AVI movie into DVD. Well, here's the guide that is very easy to follow. You will need to download 2 software, links are provided in this guide. This is by far the simplest way to convert AVI to DVD with great Video and Audio quality.

Hey Da,
I tried the software that you linked, and it worked!!!. This software is very easy to use, however the converting process takes quite a long time. I still prefer "WinAVI Video Converter", which is much faster, but it doesn't allow you to burn with subtitles. If anyone wants "WinAVI Video Converter", please let me know!

Zooga, that is true. WinAVI is faster than AVI2DVD but can't burn subs. Also, the quality of AVI2DVD encode is much better than that of WinAVI.
But...to each his own I guess. Use what works best for you.

I 've try winavi converter and TuongDa's link as well, all works but all not very good for
burning DvD movie programs... try Cucusoft video converter ... good quality and allow you to add subtitles as well

Gavin co' d/l phim Bichunmoo nhưng nói thật là không thích lọai phim đánh đấm lắm nên
không co' d/l phim của bro nữa, hôm trước mình co' d/l đượcphim VN tựa là Dốc Tình mình định sẽ upload phim lên cho ca'c bạn xem nhưng không biết forum co' bị trở ngại gi` về chuyện copy right không,?? ca'c huynh đệ cho y' kiến

here another option: buy a Divx DVD Player, Philips P640 model (i think) about $60 at Target. It plays AVI muvis ... No more conversion!!!

Can some one help.

I convert from WMP to AVI using 'AVI2DVD' software. There is no problem converting to AVI for writing to DVD player. But the sound only lasted about 3 minutes and after that it become silence. Please help.

if you want quality then DO NOT use single software to convert like winavi or whatever. single software won't give you a good quality. the guide above is kind of complicated but if you follow step by step slowly you'll have a good quality output. first time i spend around 30 minutes to follow the guide, second time it takes me around 10 minutes, now only 2 mins
